If your schedule permits, we take you on a personal tour of the 150-acre farm and its winding, tree-shaded lanes when you arrive and provide an overview of Thoroughbred Racing – as much or little as you would like. You can schedule a special lesson with Lyra about How to Make a Real Mint Julep, and if we have a horse running, or a mare foaling, you’re welcome to join in the excitement.
The Guesthouse at Rosecrest Farm offers the choice of three bedrooms in our private guesthouse – including the Derby Suite, the Bluegrass Room and the cozy Four Roses Room. Two of the rooms also offer the optional use of a trundle bed so that the Guesthouse can accommodate a total of ten if you’re planning a family get together. We’re known for our hospitality, gourmet breakfasts, ironed luxury linens, the peacefulness and natural beauty of the farm, the friendliness of our horses and – oh yes – the Lil’s Bourbon Blend Coffee served every morning. The Guesthouse has wi-fi throughout. The connection speed is not that of a big city office building, but it’s not bad, especially when you consider the beautiful pastoral setting. Every room has, air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, radio alarm clock, hair dryer and super-plush towels.
Our Derby Suite is upstairs with superb views, a king-size bed, separate sitting area alcove that includes a daybed and trundle bed, and private bath with walk-in shower. Pictured here is the bedroom’s king-sized bed with luxurious linens under the double window that faces east, overlooking the front of Rosecrest Farm. As you top the stairs, you’re greeted with a birds-eye view, through the picture window, of the back of the farm and wonderful sunsets that you can also enjoy from the back porch of the Guesthouse. The daybed and trundle can accommodate additional travelers, at an additional charge of just $20 per additional bed used.
We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect weekend to unwind & escape the city. Great memories to last a long, long time.Couple from NYC

This room’s private bath is the only one with a tub. The daybed and trundle can accommodate additional travelers, at an additional charge of just $20 per additional bed used.
What a beautiful farm and wonderful B&B. It’s awfully hard to drive away this morning. I’d much rather sit on the porch with a cup of coffee.Couple from Tampa, FL
