Where Dreams are Born

Welcome to Rosecrest Farm

Where Dreams are Born

Rosecrest Farm is located on Winchester Road near Paris, Kentucky, where the land is known to produce Champions – including most recently 2013 and 2014 Breeders’ Dirt Mile Champion GOLDENCENTS!

Our gently rolling 150 acres were originally part of the Clay land that became Claiborne Farm and epitomizes the limestone and nutrient-rich pastures for which Kentucky is so well known. When our boy Goldencents won the Santa Anita Derby-G1 in 2013, he earned a place in the Kentucky Derby and Bourbon County history, as a member of the Kentucky Derby field that was 25 percent Bourbon County-foaled.

We feel incredibly blessed to have been welcomed to the small, friendly town of Paris and the county’s distinguished circle of horsemen and women that range from the oldest Thoroughbred farm in Kentucky (Runnymede Farm) and Claiborne (which recently celebrated its 100th anniversary) to enthusiastic newcomers like ourselves, and our neighbors Siena Farm.

Our philosophy is to pamper the mares, nurture the foals and prepare the yearlings to become athletes. We accomplish this with hands-on commitment, starting with the owners to every employee, regardless of their responsibilities. Every horse benefits from our team’s attention to detail.
