About the Farm

Rosecrest Farm, nestled on prime Bluegrass land along Winchester Road / US 627 three miles from the Paris city limits, is a Thoroughbred nursery owned and operated by Charles and Lyra Miller since 2005. Since the 1980’s, the Millers followed the Thoroughbred industry, were regular attendees at the Keeneland Sales each year, and avid race goers from their home in Cincinnati. When presented with the opportunity to buy 150 acres surrounded by Claiborne Farm, Cane Ridge Cattle, and historic Auvergne….well, the chance to make dreams a reality was too great to turn down.

We are home to approximately 30 mares, and the resulting number of foals and yearlings, owned by the Millers and boarding clients, as well as several retired racehorses including Tinner’s Storm — a celebrity due to his being a grandson of Secretariat.

The Millers

We began racing in 2008 and have already had winners from Keeneland and Churchill Downs to Arlington Park and points between, racing in the name of Rosecrest Farm.
