Lil’s Coffee House
Everyone is family at Lil’s, a friendly place to gather for breakfast or lunch or to gab, or grab coffee or lunch to go. We’re at 627 Main Street in Paris at the nostalgic soda fountain counter in the old J.J. Newberry’s (dime store) building that is also home to Ardery’s Antiques. It’s said to be the only Newberry’s building in the country that still sports the original gold “J.J. Newberry” letters.
Everyone is Family
Lil’s features welcoming service, family recipes, catering and a willingness to do what the customer wants. It’s widely described as “the successor to Louie’s Restaurant” (a former Thoroughbred landmark in Paris) because you never know what horse person you may see there.
At the same time, Lyra has added specialties like quiches, homemade desserts and the wide variety of expertly prepared espresso drinks and the gourmet coffees that have become favorites of Lil’s loyal following.
